GUITAR RANT WARNING:
I freakin love this stuff. Getting into scale extensions, finding the same thing in another place, getting into a place where the physical constraints of the guitar don’t interfere with a guitar player’s un-willingness to play the same things/riffs/improvisational melodies over and over again.
Its amazing how different the guitar can feel after I take a week off of playing. I have gone to jazz gigs, after taking weeks off, and felt so fresh with ideas. Like I was a whole new player. But I could be playing and practicing everyday, and my solo’s have started to feel stale. Guitar Players: This video is getting towards that remedy. Find the same thing in another place.
